Our Story
We met in 2012 through mutual friends while riding mopeds during our senior year high school trip in Hawaii (thanks Sarah!) Our relationship since then has been equally adventurous, dating long distance while Kevin studied Engineering at Colorado University and Alli studied Human Biology at Indiana University. After graduation, we both moved back to our hometown of San Carlos, California.
Several years ago, we moved to San Francisco together where we live at the edge of the Presidio National Park with our now three year old mini goldendoodle Hazel, who will be escorting us down the aisle. Kevin designs medical devices as a Mechanical Engineer and Alli works as an orthopedic Nurse. We love to camp, rock climb, cook, go on road trips, visit Kevin's parents near Lake Tahoe and explore the desert around Alli's parents' home in Arizona.
Kevin proposed during a kayak camping trip to Utica Reservoir in the Sierras in July. He went down to the rocks to "fish" at golden hour and asked if Alli would bring a Negroni over to him. As Alli sat down next to Kevin with Hazel, she looked over at him and he was holding the ring. There were instant tears of happiness as Alli was absolutely shocked by the whole situation in the best way and Kevin was as calm as a cucumber with the biggest smile on his face.
We look forward to celebrating our marriage under the pines in Plumas National Forest with the people who make our life together so special.
